Easier and Better Than Pumice Stones

You have been hearing about it everywhere. It seems like the Ped Egg is on TV, in magazines and yes, even in some stores. This “As Seen on TV” product has gained popularity in a short amount of time. For those of you who don’t know, the Ped Egg is a revolutionary way to remove dry skin from your feet. Typically, people will use pumice stones to target areas where thick skin builds up, such as on the balls and heels of your feet. The Ped Egg is similar to a pumice stone or foot file, except it is a lot gentler and more effective. On TV, they show that you can actually run the stainless steel blade over a balloon without popping it! If it is safe enough for the skin of a balloon, then it is safe enough to use on your feet.

I use my Ped Egg regularly. The only thing you have to do is run the Ped Egg across dry skin in the same direction. I like this product because it requires little to no effort, which is more than I can say about pumice stones. I have thick skin on the heels of my feet and the Ped Egg took care of that fast. What is also great about this product is that the dry skin shavings do not fall on the floor. I used to put a towel on the floor when I used a pumice stone just so I didn’t make a mess. The Ped Egg holds all the dry skin that it has removed until you dump it out later. The Ped Egg also comes with 2 free polishing pads and a free 1oz Miracle Foot Repair Cream. This cream has Aloe Vera gel in it to repair dry, cracked feet. This is a killer combination. All of this and for only 10 bucks. Grin.

You may suffer from calluses for several reasons:

• Your shoes are too tight. Stop believing that every pair of shoes needs to be broken in. If the shoes are not comfortable, then they are hurting your feet. Do not use your feet as tools to stretch out and expand high heels. Shoes were made for your feet, not the other way around.

• You have flat feet. People who exhibit flat feet, high arched feet or bony feet are also susceptible to calluses due to unequal weight distribution. To correct this balance, invest in orthotics or insoles that absorb shock and reduce friction.

• You are not attentive to your feet. The easiest way to get rid of calluses is to well…remove them. To remove and prevent calluses, soak your feet in warm water for 15 minutes and use a pumice stone on trouble areas.

• You don’t moisturize. Water is just as important to your skin as it is to your health. Get into the habit of applying a moisturizing lotion to your feet daily after a shower. This will keep the skin soft and supple.
